In an effort to help support Scouts and families as our communities suspend school and other group programs in response to COVID-19, the Far East Council in partnership with the Central Florida Council will be offering Merit Badge programs ONLINE.
WEEK 1: May 4 – May 7
Citizenship in the Nation MB Online Monday – Thursday 4:00 PM CST (China Standard Time) to 6:00 PM CST (China Standard Time)
If you have participated in our programs before, this week will be slightly different! As we try to best serve everyone with the HIGHEST QUALITY Merit Badge program possible, we are trying a few NEW things! Here is how this week will work:
- Each day you will use that day’s ACCESS BUTTON below. There is a DIFFERENT LINK each day. The buttons activate the day before.
- Questions can be posted during the session, but they will be responded to AFTER that day’s session by e-mail. This way, you will get specific information back from the Counselor. It may take 24 hours to reply, but we will get back to you.
- Each evening, after that day’s session, there will be a Daily Work Submission button activated, like in prior weeks.
- At the end of the week, a FINAL submission form / link will be activated for sharing additional work. You will have TWO WEEKS to complete all submissions to get credit through the online system. After that, we will produce a Blue Card and you may complete remaining requirements with a local Counselor.

BUTTONS WILL BE ACTIVATED AT LEAST 12 HOURS BEFORE YOUR PROGRAM BEGINS.
SESSION DAILY WORK SUBMISSION:
The evening, a button below is activated for YOUR daily session. The button leads to a form covering the day’s lesson in detail and guiding you through completing that day’s requirements. You will also have a chance at the end of the week to upload scanned copies of other work, but the Daily Work Submission forms help you keep up!
