Troop Fun Activities
Camp La-No-Che has a great program planned for your Scouts and Adults to keep everyone busy from early morning until time for taps. Keep reading below for more info about our Summer Camp Troop Fun Activities:
6:00am - Mile Swim or Mile Run! Also we have the 5K Run!
Commissioner Activities:
Troop Time Activities: Monday through Friday at 3:30pm-4:20pm and 4:30pm to 5:20pm. Also, some programs have additional Troop Time available Monday – Thursday evenings 7:30pm to 10:30pm
Scuba & First Aid: Scuba Class, CPR Certification & First Aid Certification for $40 as National Safety Council certification.
Aquatics: Canoeing Lake Norris (limit to 20 people each hour), Sailing (limit is 12 people each hour & must have Sailing Merit Badge), Swimming (may pick 2 day swims, one swim for Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evening. Check back with Pool staff for any additional times on Monday afternoon)
Commissioner: Flag Opening or Closing, Commissioner Projects, Dining Hall Duty, Happy hour
Ecology: Trail Hikes, Conservation Projects, Trail Boss & Paul Bunyan
Handicraft: Troop Time Handicraft Project Work
Healthcraft: Troop Time First Aid Instructions
High Adventure: COPE – Project XTT (Low or Initiative Games in campsite for up to 24 youth) $5.00 per scout; COPE – Night Prowler – For Scouts 14 yrs old & above and adults (up to 14 people) experience the zip line in the dark 9:00pm – 10:30pm. $5.00 per person; Canoe Trip Alexander Springs Run (Mon-Thurs afternoon at 3:30pm Cost is $5.00 ea.); Canoe Trip Juniper Springs Run (Mon-Thurs morning at 8:30am Cost is $8.00 ea.); Caving (Friday AM for Scouts 14 years old and above. Limited to 14 people. Cost is $8 ea.); Climbing (Cost is $5.00 each person); Trail Biking (Limited to 24 people. Bike the Paisley Trail. Cost is $5.00 each person.)
Movies: Monday & Tuesday night at 8:00pm in the W.T. Bland Dining Hall
OA Cracker Barrell: Wednesday Evening at 8:00pm in the W.T. Bland Dining Hall
Scoutcraft/Trailblazer: Totin Chit & Fireman Chit training for Scouts; Tomahawk Throw ($2.00 per person)
Shooting Sports: Rifle Shooting (Monday-Thursday .06 cent a shot 10 shots each scout); Shotgun (Tuesday & Thursday .60 cent a shot 2 shots each); Black Powder (Monday & Wednesday .65 cent a shot 2 shots each); Archery (Monday through Thursday $1.00 each)
Troop Time Snacks: Concession Stand – (Mon, Tues & Wed 8pm-9:45pm Bland DH & during Council Ring events as available depending on weather); Ice Cream Social (Mon, Tues & Wed 8pm-9:45pm Bland DH; soft ice cream cone and soda. Cost is $2.00 per person); Pizza (Mon, Tues & Wed 8pm-9:45pm in Bland DH 2 pieces pizza & soda each. Cost is $3 per person); Watermelon Slurp (Mon, Tues, & Wed 8pm - 9:45pm pick up at Bland DH Cost will be announced weekly depending on market price.)

Movies in the Dining Hall on Monday and Tuesday evening at 8:00pm
Soccer Games - Campers vs. Staff
Basketball Court - Available for free play (lighted)
Boulder Wall - Attempt to climb the boulder wall and make it around (lighted)
Volleyball - Open for free play (Lighted)
Horseshoes - Play a game of horseshoes and see if you can get a ringer
Tuesday night Basketball Game at 9:00pm Adult Leaders vs. Staff
Many troop time activities lighted: Climbing; Zip Line; Swimming Pool; Rifle Range; Shot Gun Range; Archery Range
