Summer Camp Info
Check In Process:
Check in is on Sunday from Noon to 3pm. The check in process has been set up according to previous unit leaders and refined to make it the easiest as possible. Your unit will check in at the Activity Pavilion next to the Camp La-No-Che parking area. Then your unit will be provided a camp staff guide who will take you to your campsite to drop off your gear. We will provide more check in info starting in April 2008.
Campsite Coffee:
Each campsite is provided an automatic coffee pot, coffee, creamer, sugar, and cups for your campsite to have coffee ready and as much as you need when you want it. We will be happy to supply more coffee or other needs as needed by visiting the Quartermaster during their open hours or you may visit the camp office.
Laundry:
A laundry with coin washers and dryers are available for your unit's use. Also, we have a coin soap dispenser available if you need laundry soap. If you need change, please visit the camp office.
Adult Leader Meeting:
A Leader meeting is held everyday Monday - Friday with Camp Management to discuss campsite and program needs. We welcome comments and believe it is important to keep communications open to best serve the Scouts. Please feel free to contact a management person at any time.
Food Service:
Food Service is very important to us. The meals are served in the air conditioned W.T. Bland Dining Hall. During breakfast we provide a cereal bar to help provide alternatives and supplements to your breakfast. For lunch and dinner, we provide salad bars for your meals. Menu will be provided here on this page starting April 2006. Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs.
Customer Service:
Customer service is very important to our overall mission to providing a good summer camp to our Scouts. We provide additional customer service training to our camp staff. Please feel free to let us know of problems and also any good comments. We want your unit to enjoy their stay at Camp La-No-Che. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to serve you.
