DISCOVER, EXPLORATION & FUN
The Camp Program Committee sees the importance of updating and creating new programs in all areas of our year round camp. This page is to update you on some of our plans in each area to meet this goal. Our theme for all the programs from January 2005 through August 2006 is Discover, Exploration & Fun.
August 2, 2005:
2006 Summer Camp (Boy Scouts & Venturing) - Start a week earlier to provide another week of cooler weather. Add new Adventure Trek program of Huck Finn Adventure, A Sinbad Sailing Adventure and to combine some of the other Adventure Trek programs. Also, we are separating out the Eagle Week, Venturing Week & Travel Trek into a Week 9 at the end of summer. Leader's Guide now available for download!
Cub Scout Fall Program - Will update and change some of the program areas to provide new experiences. Watch in September for further updates on all the Cub fall programs.
Health & Safety Program - for Scouts, Leaders and family. Health & Safety certifications from the American Red Cross (CPR/First Aid/AED & more) and the Boy Scouts of America (BSA Lifeguard)
