Troop Service at Camp La-No-Che
Central Florida Council BSA relies on Boy Scout Troops to assist by
providing service to Cub Scouts and their families at Camp La-No-Che.
Please read the following facts for more info:
- This is a volunteer opportunity for youth where they can earn service
hours for community service; schools or possibly other troop approved
service requirements.
- Troop gets to stay for free and have meals provided when available at
the Cub Scout Event.
- No fee is required.
- Unit must provide adult leadership as required by BSA.
- Unit will stay in assigned camping area provided by the camp.
- Check in is on Friday night; help some Friday night and assisting
with Cub Scout program during the day and possibly night depending on the
Cub Event.
- Is flexible and ready for fun time.
- Also, the camp does grant special opportunities for troop to do
an extra one or two sporting program activity either Saturday evening or
Sunday morning depending on event.
